About the Marion Arts Council
The Marion Arts Council was established in 1976 and is comprised of 7 volunteer members approved and appointed by the Marion City Council. The Arts Council can have as many associate members to help with the responsibilities of recommending and planning art events and cultural activities.
MARION ARTS COUNCIL MISSION STATEMENT:
The Marion Arts Council cultivates and promotes creative arts in Marion. The council works to encourage individuals and groups in visual arts, music, drama, writing, and other creative expressions.
The Arts Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in our studio. We are located at:
Lowe Park Arts and Environment Center

Marion, Iowa
